dundalk, dundalk, let's all move to fundalk!

dundalk is the place to be ... white trash living is the life for me ... (to the tune of green acres)
well, this week i received some good news in the form of a rental application approval. that's right, folks! you're looking at the next dundalkian! wooooooooooooo hoooooooooooo! i already have the cement blocks ready to hoist my jeep up onto when i'm not using it and i've taken a baseball bat to an old television, which i will unceremoniously dump on the lawn out front along with a few empty cans of busch beer.

the apartment is vacated at the end of this month then they go in, clean, repair, replace, yadda, yadda, yadda and by the beginning of october, it should be ready for me to move in! yay! i'll be hot cop eric's neighbor!

the good mother strikes again ...
check out this new shirt! i couldn't help but laugh when i saw this and, once again, ran inside to get my camera phone. gee, you're pregnant? i couldn't tell, what with a cigarette in your hand!

her poor, unborn, nicotine-addicted baby. better get that kid the patch now ... she's going to be too young for the gum!

Has anyone ever dared to say anything to your co-worker about her pregnancy "habits"?

Dundalk won't be THAT bad -- we'll just make sure that when we come over to your place it's still light outside and we leave before the street lights come on. hahahaha!!

lol ... actually, terri, one of my other co-workers made a comment to her about smoking while pregnant and you wanna know what her response was? jamie knows this as i already told him. her response was, "mind your business, this is my body." and she walked inside w/o any chance of rebuttal. i think i almost choked when she said that.

You have two ways to see the real Dundalk. One is to go to my blog “Blue Skies Over Dundalk Maryland” www.davidrcrews.blogspot.com

The other is to view the 64 mighty fine photos I have of Dundalk on my new myspace pages www.myspace.com/ursusdave

Go there and you will see that your unwarranted attitudes about Dundalk are simply pure prejudice. People who come to Dundalk not knowing that bullcrap always see the town's beauty and solid community life.

Whoops, on that previous comment of mine on here I put the address to my blog with my Sparrows Point, Fells Point, and other superb Eastern Baltimore County and City photographs on it. There is only one difference in the two blog addresses, a 2.
www.davidrcrews2.blogspot.com

It is easier though to simply do web search for "Blue Skies Over Dundalk Maryland", in quotes so you get the exact phrase.

Sorry about that. And welcomed to Dundalk.

Oh my, someone got a little testy about Dundalk.

Look - I'm with you, Geoffy-poo. Dundalk is notorious for its um... lack of culture? And this is coming from a gal who spent most of her life in the Dirty Burnie (also notorious for trash and auto parts stores).

Don't feel bad! We all do it. I even get eye rolls for saying that I live in Greektown in Baltimore. Someone actually said to The Mr, "Oh - you mean 'Little Mexico'"?

You know I heart you have always have your back. :)

I've heard so much about the women of Dundalk being toothless wonders! Guess what! I married one and she's most wonderful woman in the world. So HA HA !

congratulations.

by the way, i actually enjoy living in dundalk. been here for, oh, about 4 weeks now, i guess, and it's quiet, which i like. sure, i've had prejudices about dundalk ... i mean, who wouldn't with all the shit people say and, sometimes, there is a lingering odor ... but that's neither here not there. anyway, i like living here but i will continue to poke fun because that's what i do.

i'm a dumdalk resident. i have no shame in this. ::hides face::
